Babes in Boyland started as a radio show dedicated to women in music when the media were trying to convince their audience the riot grrrl movement was dead and useless.... so instead of hating the media for their lie, we decided to become the media of truths.

To prove that actions speak louder than words, we decided to work on some DIY gigs setting near us. This is how Babes in Boyland Presents began. The idea is both to allow more and more girls to play and extend a women's network.

So far we've had Bratmobile, Goofball, Lack of Reason, Five Days Late, Madigan and Tamara Williamson...
